Learn How To Do a Magic Card Trick
When everyone thinks that they got you with this trick, you will surprise your audience!
GREAT BET
Tell any spectator to shuffle the cards and take a card. He shows the card to everyone.
You take the deck back and you follow the instructions of the guide card.
Leave the stack on the table; he cuts it and puts his card on the stack and you put the deck together.
Remember the guide card.
Put the deck of cards face down in your left hand in the basic position and tell the audience that you will make a great bet.
Then take one card from the top, turn it over and put it on that table face up, and then another until half the deck is on the table.
You will pass the guide card and the spectator’s card. Keep going, putting cards down, but remember where it is.
Take the next card from the top and look at it, say, “Do you want to bet that the next card that I turn over is your card? If I am right, I will win, but if not, you will win, ok? Do you want to bet?”
You need to sound convincing to him, and he will say, yes, because he sees his card on the table.
Ask again, “Are you sure, that the next card that I turn over is your card? Do you say, no?”
Remember the guide card and the spectator’s card.
Then, instead of turning over the next card in the deck in your hand, reach down and turn over the spectator’s cards on the table. Magic!
